September 6, 2024: Falmouth, ME 04105 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Falmouth Navigators (Falmouth, ME) and the visiting Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME), witnessed Falmouth's football squad knock off Cheverus by a tally of 14-0.
The Navigators (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME). The River Hawks enter the B North contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Skowhegan was toppled by Hampden (Hampden, ME), 32-21, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Stags battle the Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME) in a B South contest, on Saturday, September 14. Cheverus will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 26-16 league win over Gorham (Gorham, ME).
