New York High School Football - Dobbs Ferry can't hold off Pelham Memorial
September 6, 2024: Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 Pelham Memorial Pelicans (Pelham, NY) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Dobbs Ferry Eagles (Dobbs Ferry, NY), 21-20 in a non-league match.
The Pelicans (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Byram Hills (Armonk, NY). The Bobcats come into the Section 1 B match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Byram Hills tipped Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY), 22-21, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Hastings Yellow Jackets (Hastings on Hudson, NY) in a Section 1 C/D match, on Friday, September 13. Dobbs Ferry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 42-14 non-league loss to Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY).
