Texas High School Football - Era thwarted by Sacred Heart
September 6, 2024: Muenster, TX 76252 Sacred Heart Tigers (Muenster, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Era Hornets (Era, TX), 20-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Sacred Heart improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to John Paul II (Plano, TX) to play the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 14. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 1-1. John Paul II lost 43-0 in their recent non-league battle against Covenant (Dallas, TX)
The Hornets now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Trinity Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Era will play a Eagles team coming off a 22-9 non-league loss to Live Oak Classical (Waco, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
