New York High School Football - Fallsburg loses to Liberty
September 6, 2024: Fallsburg, NY 12733 Liberty Indians (Liberty, NY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Fallsburg Comets (Fallsburg, NY), 49-26 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Liberty advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY) to play the Raiders in a Section 9 B-1 battle on Friday, September 13. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Port Jervis won 61-28 in their recent non-league battle against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY)
The Comets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dover for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Fallsburg will play a Dragons team coming off a 26-6 non-league loss to Haldane (Cold Spring, NY). The Dragons record now stands at 0-1.
