The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Forest Hill Patriots (Jackson, MS) and the visiting Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS), witnessed Forest Hill's football squad edge Vicksburg by a count of 28-23.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Murrah (Jackson, MS). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Murrah got by Callaway (Jackson, MS), 27-0, in a non-league contest.
