In Friday's league game, the Perry Meridian Falcons (Indianapolis, IN) football team edged the host Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN), by a tally of 12-7.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) in a Mid-State game, on Friday, September 13. Perry Meridian will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Quakers come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 42-0 league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, IN).

With the defeat, Franklin Community drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Grizzly cubs travel to Whiteland (Whiteland, IN) to meet the Warriors in a Mid-State test on Friday, September 13. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-1. Whiteland lost 42-29 in their recent league test against Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN)
