The Grand Saline Indians football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Palmer Bulldogs to 27 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rains for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Grand Saline will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 41-27 non-league loss to Leonard (Leonard, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Palmer drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-0. Scurry-Rosser won 54-28 in their recent non-league test against Mineola (Mineola, TX)
