Louisiana High School Football - Silliman Institute defeated by Jackson Academy
September 6, 2024: Clinton, LA 70722 The Jackson Academy Raiders were victorious over the host Silliman Institute Wildcats football team by a score of 27-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders face the Jackson Prep Patriots (Jackson, MS) in a MAIS 6A District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 13. Jackson Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 63-0 non-league win over Pillow Academy (Greenwood, MS).
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Parklane Academy (McComb, MS). The Pioneers enter the MAIS 5A District 3 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Parklane Academy ran past North Pike (Summit, MS), 20-0, in a non-league challenge.
