Kentucky High School Football - Marshall County thwarted by Murray
September 6, 2024: Benton, KY 42025 Murray Tigers (Murray, KY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY), 34-19 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Murray improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers host Union County (Morganfield, KY) to play the Braves in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Braves go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Union County won 42-14 in their recent non-league battle against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY)
The Marshals now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Calloway County for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Marshall County will play a Lakers team coming off a 62-14 non-league loss to Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 0-3.
