The McCool Junction Mustangs football squad scored 68 points and limited the host Twin River Titans to 26 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Freeman for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. McCool Junction will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 32-27 non-league loss to Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Twin River drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Heartland (Henderson, NE) to meet the Huskies in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 0-2. Heartland lost 64-0 in their recent non-league test against Sutton (Sutton, NE)
