The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans (Sterling Heights, MI) and the visiting Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI), witnessed Sterling Heights Stevenson's football squad knock off Utica by a tally of 24-10.

The Titans (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds enter the Macomb Area - Red contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Chippewa Valley gained a win over Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI), 28-2, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Chieftains battle the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) in a Macomb Area - White contest, on Friday, September 13. Utica will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 34-16 non-league win over Romeo (Romeo, MI).
