September 6, 2024: Westcliffe, CO 81252 Custer County Bobcats (Westcliffe, CO) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Del Norte Tigers (Del Norte, CO), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Custer County advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Evangel Christian Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-0. Evangel Christian Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Front Range Christian (Littleton, CO)
The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pagosa Springs for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Del Norte will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Telluride (Telluride, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 1-2.
