Illinois High School Soccer - Gibault Catholic nudged by Lebanon
September 6, 2024: Lebanon, IL 62254 Lebanon Greyhounds (Lebanon, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Gibault Catholic Hawks (Waterloo, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lebanon advances its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Granite City (Granite City, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-2. Granite City lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Triad (Troy, IL)
The Hawks now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freeburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Gibault Catholic will clash with a Midgets team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL). The Midgets record now stands at 2-3.
