September 6, 2024: Providence, RI 02906 Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hope advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Blue Wave host Pilgrim (Warwick, RI) to clash with the Patriots in a Division 2 test on Monday, September 9. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-1. Pilgrim won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Johnston (Johnston, RI)
The Kilties now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cranston East for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Thunderbolts team coming off a 1-1 non-league Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 1-1.
