New Mexico High School Soccer - New Mexico Military Institute nudges Mayfield
September 6, 2024: Las Cruces, NM 88007 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM) and the host Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM), saw New Mexico Military Institute's soccer squad hold off Mayfield by a count of 2-1.
The Colts (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Coyotes enter the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Roswell tipped Goddard (Roswell, NM), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Trojans battle the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Mayfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Miyamura (Gallup, NM).
