Maine High School Soccer - Waterville knocks off Skowhegan
September 6, 2024: Skowhegan, ME 04976 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME) and the host Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME), saw Waterville's soccer squad knock off Skowhegan by a score of 3-0.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Mount View tipped Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME), 8-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the River Hawks confront the Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Skowhegan will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 league loss to Cony (Augusta, ME).
