Calvary Baptist Cougars (La Verne, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Calvary Baptist advances its record to 9-5 on the season. The Cougars host Southwestern Academy (San Marino, CA) to face the Sun in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Sun go into the test with a record of 0-3. Southwestern Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against San Gabriel Mission (San Gabriel, CA)

The Warriors now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Duarte for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. La Puente will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Glenn (Norwalk, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-10.
