Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting South Pointe Christian Patriots (Pageland, SC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Christ the Cornerstone Academy improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Defenders travel to Sandhills Classical Christian (Whispering Pines, NC) to face the Lions in a CCAA test on Tuesday, September 10. The Lions go into the test with a record of 0-1. Sandhills Classical Christian lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Cornerstone Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC)

The Patriots now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carolina Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. South Pointe Christian will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over South Pointe Christian (Pageland, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
