California High School Volleyball - Hoover over St. Monica Academy
September 6, 2024: Montrose, CA 91020 The Hoover Tornados volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host St. Monica Academy Crusaders to 1 in the Tornados non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tornados now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Glendale for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. Hoover will play a Nitros team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA). The Nitros record now stands at 15-1.
With the loss, St. Monica Academy drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Vasquez (Acton, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Heritage outing on Tuesday, September 10. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 4-6. Vasquez won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA)
