The Laconia Sachems topped the visiting Manchester Memorial Crusaders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Sachems face the Stark Generals (Weare, NH) in a Division II game, on Monday, September 9. Laconia will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.

The Crusaders (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Merrimack (Merrimack, NH). The Tomahawks go into the Division I game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Merrimack gained a win over Spaulding (Rochester, NH), 3-0, in a league game.
