Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their football squad smash the host Ann Sobrato Bulldogs (Morgan Hill, CA), 56-21 in a non-league match.

The Acorns (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Mountain View (Mountain View, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Mountain View was routed by Woodside (Woodside, CA), 41-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs meet the Seaside Spartans (Seaside, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Ann Sobrato will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 42-8 non-league loss to Monterey (Monterey, CA).
