The St. Anthony's Friars were victorious over the visiting University Prep Griffins football team by a score of 35-20 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Friars face the Don Bosco Prep Ironmen (Ramsey, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. St. Anthony's will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Ironmen enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 38-21 non-league win over Monarch (Coconut Creek, FL).

The Griffins (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pittsford (Pittsford, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 5 AA test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Pittsford topped Victor (Victor, NY), 27-17, in a non-league test.
