New Jersey High School Football - Shabazz tops Columbia
September 6, 2025: Maplewood, NJ 07040 The Shabazz Bulldogs football team scored 28 points and held the host Columbia Cougars to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Bergen Catholic Crusaders (Oradell, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Shabazz will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 18-6 non-league win over DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ).
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Mountaineers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, West Orange Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ), 6-6, in a non-league challenge.
