Delaware High School Football - Newark falls to Polytech
September 6, 2025: Woodside, DE 19980 The Polytech Panthers felled the visiting Newark Yellowjackets football team by a score of 26-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Sussex Tech Ravens (Georgetown, DE) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 24. Polytech will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record.
With the defeat, Newark drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host DuPont (Wilmington, DE) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-0. DuPont won 12-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Early College (Dover, DE)
