Illinois High School Flag Football - Schaumburg sneaks past Benet Academy
September 6, 2025: Lisle, IL 60532 The Schaumburg Saxons flag football squad scored 19 points and limited the host Benet Academy Redwings to 18 in the Saxons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Saxons now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fremd for a test on Tuesday, September 9. Schaumburg will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Benet Academy drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Redwings travel to St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 5-2. St. Francis won 31-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Geneva (Geneva, IL)
