Ohio High School Soccer - Normandy nudges Elyria

In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Normandy Invaders soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Elyria Pioneers.

With the triumph, Normandy moves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Invaders host North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH) to clash with the Eagles in a Cleveland West test on Wednesday, September 10. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-4. North Olmsted 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH)

The Pioneers now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Avon Lake for a Southwestern outing on Wednesday, September 10. Elyria will confront a Shoremen squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Brunswick (Brunswick, OH). The Shoremen record now stands at 2-2.
