The Gwynedd Mercy Academy (Gwynedd Valley, PA) varsity soccer team won Saturday's home non-conference match against Springfield (PA) by a score of 6-4.
In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Gwynedd Mercy Academy Monarchs soccer squad scored a tight 6-4 win over the Springfield Cougars.
The Monarchs (8-0) will now prepare for their outing against Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA). The Golden Bears enter the Catholic Academies outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Merion Mercy Academy nipped Little Flower Catholic for Girls (Philadelphia, PA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lower Merion for a Central test on Thursday, September 11.
