September 6, 2025: Ashland, PA 17921 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) and the host North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA), witnessed Notre Dame-Green Pond's football squad topple North Schuylkill by a tally of 38-12.
The Crusaders (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Saucon Valley thwarted Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA), 30-6, in a non-league bout.
The Spartans now own a 0-1 record.
