Ohio High School Soccer - Lakewood knocks off Steele
September 6, 2025: Amherst, OH 44001 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Lakewood Rangers (Lakewood, OH) and the host Steele Comets (Amherst, OH), saw Lakewood's soccer squad knock off Steele by a score of 3-0.
The Rangers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Westlake (Westlake, OH). The Demons come into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Westlake by Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH), 3-2, in a non-league match.
The Comets now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Olmsted Falls for a match on Wednesday, September 10. Steele will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Fairview (Fairview Park, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.
