West Virginia High School Soccer - Robert C. Byrd knocks off University
September 6, 2025: Clarksburg, WV 26301 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) and the visiting University Hawks (Morgantown, WV), saw Robert C. Byrd's soccer squad triumph over University by a count of 8-0.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Bridgeport was overwhelmed by Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Hawks confront the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 11. University will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
