September 6, 2025: Chicago, IL 60631 Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Taft advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) to face the Champions in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Champions go into the test with a record of 5-1. Lane Tech won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL)
The Crusaders (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Rickover Naval (Chicago, IL). The Seadragons enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Rickover Naval gained a win over Roosevelt (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
