The Breese Central Cougars smashed the visiting Greenville Comets soccer team by a tally of 7-0 in Saturday's league game.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) in a Cahokia (Mississippi Division) game, on Tuesday, September 9. Breese Central will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Marquette (Chesterfield, MO).
