Kentucky High School Soccer - Carroll County knocks off Walton-Verona
September 6, 2025: Walton, KY 41094 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Carroll County Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Walton-Verona Bearcats.
The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Henry County (New Castle, KY). The Wildcats go into the District 31 outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Henry County was overwhelmed by Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY), 8-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Bearcats confront the Williamstown Demons (Williamstown, KY) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 6. Walton-Verona will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Demons come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY).
