Michigan High School Soccer - Genesee Christian knocks off Laingsburg
September 6, 2025: Burton, MI 48509 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI) and the visiting Laingsburg Wolfpack (Laingsburg, MI), saw Genesee Christian's soccer squad prevail over Laingsburg by a count of 4-0.
The Soldiers (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI). The enter the Catholic West battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Everest Collegiate by Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI), 3-0, in a league match.
The Wolfpack now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lansing Christian for a non-league match on Monday, September 8. Laingsburg will meet a Pilgrims team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Pilgrims record now stands at 8-1.
