Kentucky High School Soccer - Grant County knocks off Harrison County
September 6, 2025: Cynthiana, KY 41031 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Grant County Braves soccer team scored a close 3-0 triumph over the Harrison County Thorobreds/Fillies.
Next, the Braves clash with the Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) in a District 32 game, on Tuesday, September 9. Grant County will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 5-0 league win over Walton-Verona (Walton, KY).
The Thorobreds/Fillies (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Royals go into the District 38 bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Mason County by Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
