New York High School Soccer - Wellsville held off by Olean
September 6, 2025: Olean, NY 14760 The Olean Huskies edged the visiting Wellsville Lions soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Huskies face the Allegany-Limestone Gators (Allegany, NY) in a CCAA I West game, on Tuesday, September 16. Olean will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
The Lions (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY). The Jaguars enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Genesee Valley held off Houghton Academy (Houghton, NY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
