The Eaglecrest Raptors softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Ponderosa Mustangs to 1 in the Raptors non-league win on Saturday.

The Raptors now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Canyon for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Eaglecrest will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-6.

The Mustangs (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO). The Raiders enter the 5A/4A Continental challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Regis Jesuit edged Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO), 13-1, in a non-league challenge.
