With the triumph, Southwest Georgia Academy improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Stratford Academy (Macon, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 5-5. Stratford Academy won 15-0 in their recent league bout against Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Loganville Christian Academy Lions (Loganville, GA) in a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 4 bout, on Tuesday, September 9. George Walton Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 12-1 league win over Athens Christian (Athens, GA).
