Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE), 7-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Lincoln High upgrades its record to 2-7 on the year. The Links travel to South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE) to play the Cardinals in a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. The Cardinals come into the match with a record of 1-9. South Sioux City lost 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Wayne (Wayne, NE)

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Burke Bulldogs (Omaha, NE) in a A District match, on Monday, September 8. Omaha North will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 0-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE).
