The Nebraska City Pioneers triumphed over the host Raymond Central Mustangs softball team by a margin of 11-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Pioneers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Platteview for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Nebraska City will confront a Trojans team coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Omaha South (Omaha, NE). The Trojans record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Raymond Central moves to 6-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Arlington (Arlington, NE) to confront the Eagles in a C District battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 5-5. Arlington won 15-3 in their recent league challenge against Cass (Louisville, NE)
