September 6, 2025: Vandalia, IL 62471 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos (Cerro Gordo, IL) and the host Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL), observed Cerro Gordo/Bement's volleyball team hold off Vandalia by a count of 2-1.
The Broncos (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Broadlands, IL). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Heritage was edged by Fisher (Fisher, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Vandals now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlinville for a South Central battle on Thursday, September 11.
