California High School Volleyball - Bret Harte over Amador
September 6, 2025: Sutter Creek, CA 95685 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bret Harte Bullfrogs (Angels Camp, CA) and the host Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA), observed Bret Harte's volleyball team top Amador by a count of 2-0.
The Bullfrogs (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Honkers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Yuba City was knocked off by Pioneer (Woodland, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Buffaloes battle the Liberty Ranch Hawks (Galt, CA) in a Sierra Valley Conference battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Amador will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Hawks go into the battle with a 3-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Union Mine (El Dorado, CA).
