In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Marion Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ashland Blue Jays.

The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Hodgeman County lost by Bucklin (Bucklin, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Jays meet the South Central Timberwolves (Coldwater, KS) in a Southern Plains-Iroquois test, on Tuesday, September 9. Ashland will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record.
