September 6, 2025: Bergenfield, NJ 07621 Leonia Lions (Leonia, NJ) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Bergenfield Bears (Bergenfield, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Leonia advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Lions travel to New Milford (New Milford, NJ) to face the Knights in a North Jersey - Liberty test on Tuesday, September 9. The Knights go into the test with a record of 2-0. New Milford won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cresskill (Cresskill, NJ)
Next, the Bears play the Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders (Englewood, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Bergenfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
