September 6, 2025: Berry, AL 35546 Hackleburg Panthers (Hackleburg, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Berry Wildcats (Berry, AL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hackleburg improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Panthers host Phillips (Bear Creek, AL) to meet the Bears in a 1A Area 14 challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 0-7. Phillips lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Berry (Berry, AL)
Next, the Wildcats meet the Sumiton Christian Eagles (Sumiton, AL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Berry will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 0-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Oakman (Oakman, AL).
