Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) and the host Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA), observed Branham's volleyball team top Evergreen Valley by a count of 2-0.

The Bruins (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Warriors go into the BVAL - Mt. Hamilton battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Westmont notched a victory over Leigh (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.
