In Saturday's non-league test, the host Brookland Bearcats volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Searcy Lions.

With the win, Brookland advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Bearcats host Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-1. Baptist Prep lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Episcopal (Little Rock, AR)

The Lions now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greene County Tech for a 5A East test on Tuesday, September 9. Searcy will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
