In Saturday's non-league bout, the Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH) volleyball team knocked off the host Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH), by a margin of 2-0.

The Barons now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Columbus School for Girls for a Mid-State - Ohio bout on Monday, September 8. Buckeye Valley will clash with a Unicorns team coming off a 3-0 league win over Grandview Heights (Columbus, OH). The Unicorns record now stands at 3-3.
