New Mexico High School Volleyball - Carlsbad overwhelmed by Hot Springs
September 6, 2025: Carlsbad, NM 88221 Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Portales for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Hot Springs will play a Rams team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Carlsbad drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cavemen/cavegirls host Lovington (Lovington, NM) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 4-3. Lovington lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)
