Oregon High School Volleyball - Yamhill-Carlton overwhelmed by Catlin Gabel
September 6, 2025: Portland, OR 97225 Catlin Gabel Eagles (Portland, OR) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Yamhill-Carlton Tigers (Yamhill, OR), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Catlin Gabel advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR) to face the Cougars in a 3A Lewis & Clark test on Tuesday, September 9. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-2. Portland Adventist Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR)
The Tigers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neah-Kah-Nie for a 3A Coastal Range test on Tuesday, September 9. Yamhill-Carlton will face a Pirates squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Nestucca (Cloverdale, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.
